You can take dozens of pictures during your vacation, but you may view them once or twice before they are forgotten in a folder. You may focus on your work or other tasks and you will remember the pictures only when you need to show them to someone. Using these pictures to create a screensaver is the best way to be reminded of your vacation or other fun times. ImageBox makes this possible by providing a set of easy to understand functions, organized on a user friendly interface.

The application can be installed in a few seconds, on any Windows platform, between Windows 2000 and Windows 7. The installation kit is not large and you will not encounter any difficult options during the setup process.

ImageBox lets you create and customize a slideshow and export it as a screensaver. You can save it either as a .scr or an .exe file, if you want to install it on other computers as well. Additionally, you may export your project as a video CD. The software can save it in various qualities, from a video CD (352x240) to full HD video (1920x1080) and burn it to a disc.

Creating a slideshow is not a challenging task. You can select your pictures folder in a tree menu, located in the upper right corner of the window. Once selected, the contained pictures will appear as thumbnails, beneath the tree menu. You may add your photos to the slideshow by dragging and dropping them in a different area of the window or by clicking an Add or Add All button.

It is possible to rearrange the order of the added images, rotate them or customize the slide properties for each picture, on a separate window. The software lets you define time intervals, select numerous transition effects, background colors or add comments on individual slides. The same configurations can be made globally, on a similar window, after clicking an option on the main toolbar. Audio files can be added as well and you can tick a few options to shuffle and repeat the playlist. ImageBox supports various image formats, like JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG or TIFF and audio files in MP3 and WAV format.
